I started The Ignite Practice to create a space that feels real and welcoming — a space where anyone, from any background, can come and feel truly seen. Whoever you are, and whatever you’re going through, you’re welcome here.

I became a counsellor because I believe everyone deserves someone in their corner — someone who listens, cares, and doesn’t judge.

My journey into this work wasn’t straightforward. Long before I had formal training, I was learning about resilience, survival, and the profound complexity of being human, through caring for others, and through working in the community.

I have sat with people in some of their darkest moments, and I’ve done my own healing along the way. That experience shapes how I show up for my clients.

In sessions, I am warm, honest, and genuinely present. I will meet you with compassion, and I won’t avoid the hard conversations when they matter.

I have worked in a range of settings, including mental health wards supporting people with mood disorders, PTSD, and addiction, as well as with children and families in care, disability support, and crisis services. I bring that breadth of real-world experience into every session.

I’m also a proud mum, and outside of work you'll find me cooking, creating, and planning the next adventure. I bring that same curiosity into my work, because I believe the journey of getting to know yourself is one of the greatest adventures there is.

It’s a privilege to do this work, and I don’t take that lightly.
